Job summary

IEM is seeking a Materials Manager specializing in warehouse and logistics for its Jacksonville, FL location. This full-time role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and oversees inventory control, material flow, and warehouse operations to support production schedules.

This position requires 100% in-office presence in Jacksonville and does not offer remote work, with opportunities to lead improvements across the supply chain and enhance on-time delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related discipline.
• 4+ years in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Experience designing and managing lean warehouse and replenishment systems (kanban).
• ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Oracle, Infor Syteline) is a plus.
• Certifications CPIM, CSCP, Six Sigma or Lean beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control and accuracy over inventories (raw material, WIP, finished goods), including material transactions and warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure components/materials are delivered to support production.
• Lead daily warehouse operations: receiving, inventory management, storage, and delivery to point of use.
• Establish and implement methods to improve inventory control and warehouse processes.
• Support production scheduling by monitoring material availability and progress.
• Coordinate with Quality Manager to monitor supplier scorecard performance and resolve vendor returns.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and develop corrective actions to prevent discrepancies.
