Job summary

Ryan Companies is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support our Mission Critical sector in an in-office role requiring four days in the office and one day work‑from‑home from either the Minneapolis or Des Moines office. You will analyze operations, drive process improvements, and develop dashboards and predictive insights spanning development, construction, and corporate functions.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience in real estate or construction, is fluent in Power

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business, engineering, data analytics, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in real estate, construction, or related industry with focus on operations or performance improvement.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives from discovery through implementation and change management.
• Fluency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), SQL, and analytics platforms.
• Experience with project delivery, scheduling, or cost control tools (Procore, Smartsheet, Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze operational inefficiencies across development, construction, and corporate functions using internal and external data sources.
• Translate findings into dashboards, visualizations, and executive-ready narratives with clear metrics and data-driven KPIs.
• Assist in development, training, and validation of predictive models that support safety forecasting, scheduling optimization, and project risk analysis.
• Lead pilots and rollouts of new tools, workflows, or reporting standards to address performance gaps and ensure adoption.
• Support quarterly and annual strategic planning cycles with data-backed recommendations.
