Creative Solutions In HealthCare seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in‑house rehab team in Amarillo, TX for a full‑time role. You will support mobility, strength, and overall quality of life for residents under Physical Therapist supervision, following a person‑centered care approach.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current physical therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying needs and personalities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled PT services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Relay information and referrals to the Physical Therapist as needed.
• Modify care plans under PT supervision to fit patient needs.
• Measure and record patients' motor function and strength.
• Monitor response to treatments and adjust approaches with the team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care plans.
• Ensure timely and thorough documentation per policies and regulations.
• Attend meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.
