Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will administer prescribed PTA treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to improve residents’ mobility and quality of life.

Ideal candidates hold an active Texas PTA license, prior SNF/long-term care experience, and strong communication skills to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed PTA treatments to improve mobility and function.
• Provide PT services under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Document care timely and in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and PT for plan of care.
• Support patients and families with education and instructions.
