Creative Solutions in Healthcare - West seeks a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team. You will support residents to improve mobility, strength, and quality of life under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

This full-time role requires an active Texas PTA license, good standing with regulatory boards, and preferred SNF or long-term care experience. Net Health documentation proficiency is a plus, and you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
• Provide PT services under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information to the Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify patients’ physical therapy plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and modify approaches as clinically appropriate in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
