Trustpoint.One has partnered with a growing private equity company to recruit a Corporate Paralegal to support their legal department in Greenwich, CT. This role is based in the office 3 to 4 days a week and involves keeping entities organized, handling NDAs, drafting some agreements, and supporting ad hoc projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of paralegal experience with corporate governance and NDA management, strong attention to detail, proficiency

Job description

Trustpoint.one has partnered with a growing private equity company in its search for a Corporate Paralegal to support their legal department in Greenwich, CT, located near a Metro North station. This position will be required to be in the office 3 to 4 days a week. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Keeping entities organized, including handling electronic minute books, putting resolutions together, and forming entities
  • Handling a very large volume of NDAs, including all of the administrative work associated with getting the NDA’s processed.
  • Drafting some agreements.
  • Completing ad hoc projects upon request from the various teams
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience as a Paralegal handling corporate governance and NDA’s
  • Outstanding initiative and work ethic, proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and work with others in implementation of new assignments
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail necessary
  • All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations
  • Work is generally performed sitting, talking, hearing, and typing
  • This is a high-volume screen-based role, requiring constant, prolonged computer usage, including but not limited to: reviewing documents, managing visual content, and attending virtual meetings
  • Visual acuity required for computer use, data analysis, and extended reading
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and document handling
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
