Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, organize, and manage legal documents related to: Trust administration, Corporate governance, Corporate transactions, Investment, Mergers & acquisitions, Entity management, Related-party transactions
- Support transaction execution from due diligence through closing and post-closing requirements
- Coordinate legal projects involving attorneys, trustees, executives, accountants, investment professionals, and outside advisors
- Manage virtual data rooms, closing checklists, legal records, and entity documentation
- Conduct legal research and analysis with minimal supervision
- Assist with governance and compliance initiatives
- Support legal process improvement, workflow enhancements, and matter tracking
- Prepare correspondence, presentations, summaries, and legal reports
- Assist with special projects involving family office and affiliated business operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred OR ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate
- 5+ years of trust and estates administration paralegal experience
- Experience in one or more of the following: Trust and estate administration, Family office legal support, Corporate governance, Corporate transactions, M&A support, Investments, General corporate matters
- Complex legal project management
- Strong document drafting and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working directly with executives, attorneys, trustees, and external advisors preferred
