Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in Florida seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Pahokee. You will assess residents, develop tailored treatment plans, and deliver therapy to support independence and function.

The role involves supervising COTA, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring compliant documentation and billing. Flexible full-time, part-time, or PRN options with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OT license in the practicing state.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screenings to determine best intervention for each patient.
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; set short- and long-term goals.
• Communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families, and team members.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules with team members.
• Provide therapy per treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing.
• Perform other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
• Oversee COTA and ensure documentation and treatments meet standards and reimbursement practices.

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy

Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state
