Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in Florida is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for an in‑house Skilled Nursing Facility in Pahokee. This full‑time role may also be filled part‑time or PRN, with flexible scheduling to meet resident needs.

You will plan, organize, and direct OT services, supervise COTA, and ensure compliant documentation and billing. A degree in OT and an active license in the state are required, with ongoing education to maintain credentials.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OT license in practicing state(s).
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed
