Job summary

Qualifications

• Law degree required and admitted to practice in the US.
• Typically 1–3 years of professional experience in mortgage servicing regulation or related field.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into documentation and process.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely legal counsel to divisions on mortgage servicing documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Research federal and state mortgage servicing laws and investor requirements to ensure document and process compliance.
• Review and maintain mortgage servicing documents and forms for regulatory alignment.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on documents, systems, and processes.
• Collaborate with operations, product, technology, and compliance teams on servicing questions and regulatory changes.
• Resolve servicing-related questions in coordination with clients' legal contacts.
