Job summary

Qualifications

  • Admitted to practice law in the US
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in mortgage servicing/regulatory areas
  • Strong ability to interpret complex regulations into documentation

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support to divisions while minimizing risk
  • Advise on mortgage servicing documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Research and interpret federal/state mortgage servicing laws
  • Review and maintain mortgage documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor regulatory changes affecting servicing documents and processes
  • Collaborate with operations, product, technology, and compliance teams
  • Work with clients' legal/compliance contacts to resolve questions
