Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to support our in-house legal team at our Deerfield Beach headquarters. This role supports franchise development, real estate matters, corporate governance, insurance compliance, and legal operations across our growing franchise network.

You will prepare legal documents, coordinate transactions, track deadlines, maintain corporate records, and support the Chief Legal Officer with calendars, meetings, travel, and expense

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience in a professional setting.
• In-house legal department experience preferred; franchisor experience a plus.
• Real estate experience and familiarity with franchise agreements.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with NetSuite and Monday.com is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support Franchise Development: prepare and distribute FDDs, background applications, franchise agreements, addenda, renewals and related documents.
• Assist with Transactions: support real estate matters, franchise transfers and corporate transactions.
• Manage Insurance Compliance: track insurance requirements, coordinate policy changes and liaise with adjusters.
• Maintain Corporate Records: track formations, registered agent updates, org charts, annual filings and governance documents.
• Prepare Legal Documents: draft, format, proofread and edit contracts and notices.
• Coordinate Legal Operations: manage files, deadlines and milestones; support process improvements with NetSuite and Monday.com.
• Support the Legal Team: assist the Chief Legal Officer with calendars, meetings, travel and expense reports.
• Communicate Professionally: coordinate with franchisees, internal teams, outside counsel and vendors.
• Protect Confidentiality: handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
