Job summary

Boston Document Systems in Marlborough, MA is seeking an In-house Copier Technician/Refurbishment Associate to maintain and refurbish office copiers at our warehouse, supporting field technicians as needed. You will assemble machines, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and manage parts inventory.

Strong organizational and computer skills are essential, plus a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and work independently.
• 1+ years of copier/printer maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Kyocera, Canon, Ricoh, Xerox brands preferred.
• Networking knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and repair office equipment on site at our warehouse.
• Support field technicians by meeting their needs on time.
• Investigate and resolve advanced maintenance and repair issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
• Assemble machines per specifications using hand/power tools and measuring devices.
• Test parts functionality on machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on office equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and identify malfunctions and causes.
• Build relationships with service technicians.
