Boston Document Systems is seeking an experienced Field Service/Setup/Installation Technician to install and service copier/printer systems within MA and nearby areas. You will handle on-site and remote support, perform troubleshooting, and train end users on operation and maintenance.

The role requires electromechanical skills, customer-focused service, and the ability to lift equipment. A valid driver's license and 5+ years of related experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of copier/printer office equipment.
• Experience with major copier/printer brands (e.g., Kyocera, Canon, Ricoh, Xerox).
• Ability to lift and transport equipment parts; strong customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Setup, install, and service office equipment at client sites.
• Provide on-site and remote customer support for equipment issues.
• Troubleshoot advanced maintenance and repair problems and document resolutions.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies and ensure safe operation.
• Deliver end-user training on printer/MFP operation and maintenance.
