Job summary

Renewable Acres, Inc. seeks a Construction Attorney to support EPC, solar PV, and battery energy storage projects across the U.S. This role covers bid, contracting, execution, and closeout, working closely with executive leaders and project teams.

You will review and negotiate prime contracts and subcontracts, manage change orders and notices, and advise on lien, bond, and dispute matters throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 4 years in construction law (firm or in-house).
• Experience drafting and negotiating EPC agreements and subcontracts.
• Experience with mechanics' liens, bonds, and payment disputes.
• Experience managing construction claims and disputes.

Responsibilities

• Bid, proposal, and prime contract support for EPC projects.
• Negotiate prime EPC, subcontracts, and O&M agreements.
• Manage changes, notices, and risk allocations throughout projects.
• Oversee liens, bonds, and payment-related issues across states.
• Lead disputes, litigation, and coordination with outside counsel.
• Ensure regulatory, insurance, and compliance obligations.
• Support O&M and warranty phases after completion.
• Maintain contract repository and reporting to leadership.
• Train project teams on contract administration.
