Job summary

DESRI seeks a renewables engineering, construction, and procurement attorney to support wind, solar, and energy storage projects. You will draft LNTPs, EPC contracts, and lien waivers, and advise on procurement issues from internal teams including Development, Construction, Project Management, Procurement, and Finance.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree with at least five years of legal experience.
• Experience in renewable energy sector, solar projects and energy storage preferred.
• Strong organization and communication; ability to balance priorities.
• Familiarity with domestic content bonus credit and prevailing wage/apprenticeship requirements preferred.
• Experience drafting equipment supply agreements for renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of U.S. trade and supply-chain issues affecting equipment, tariffs and duties.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate LNTP, pre-construction, EPC contracts, lien waivers.
• Advise on procurement, warranty, delivery, tariff, and regulatory issues.
