Job summary

You will draft and negotiate LNTPs, EPC contracts, and related documents, advising cross-functional teams on commercial and regulatory issues including tariffs, trade measures, and domestic content requirements. The role emphasizes collaboration with Development, Construction, Procurement, and Finance to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree with strong academic and professional achievement.
• At least five years of legal experience.
• Experience in renewables, particularly solar and energy storage, is preferred.
• Meticulous organization and strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with LNTP, pre-construction agreements, lien waivers, and construction contracting.
• Experience with equipment procurement and trade/tariff issues in renewables.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate LNTP and pre-construction agreements for solar and energy storage projects.
• Draft EPC contracts, lien waivers, and other construction-related documents.
• Advise on commercial and legal issues in equipment procurement, including tariffs and supply-chain matters.
• Coordinate with Development, Construction, Procurement, Finance, and Project Management to align to project goals.
• Provide primary legal counsel to project teams and liaise with senior management on defined projects.
