Job summary

Reinforced Learning seeks an in-house lawyer to be the first legal hire, handling commercial and technology transactions, data licensing and privacy matters. You will draft, negotiate and advise across customer, contributor and vendor agreements while building scalable templates and a practical, solution-focused approach.

You’ll support employment matters and liaise with outside counsel on specialized issues as needed, shaping the company’s data rights posture from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience handling commercial and technology transactions.
• Practical judgment with a solution-oriented approach.
• Clear drafting and contract language is essential.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate customer agreements, data licenses and statements of work.
• Create contributor agreement templates and the underlying framework.
• Provide advice on data rights, privacy and confidentiality across programs.
• Support people operations on employment matters.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on specialist questions.
