Job summary

Hireology is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide in-home residential services to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. A fun, energetic caregiver who enjoys one-on-one work in clients' homes is needed to help achieve goals in the least restrictive setting.

Responsibilities include budgeting, hygiene, social activities, ADL/IADL support, community access, health and safety assurance, and daily/quarterly progress notes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience caring for individuals with developmental or physical disabilities.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Current negative two part PPD test, CPR/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home residential support to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Support individuals with budgeting and managing their money.
• Guide individuals with hygienic and household tasks.
• Engage individuals in social activities and community access.
• Support ADL/IADL completion and health and safety.
• Complete daily progress notes and quarterly progress reports.
• Follow ISPs and attend training, supervision sessions.
• Maintain client confidentiality and assist with conflict resolution.
