Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Amedisys family is seeking a Per Diem Speech Pathologist to provide in-home evaluation and treatment for adults with speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to enhance communication, safety, independence and quality of life in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities include prevention, assessment and treatment of diverse communication disorders, aural rehabilitation, AAC

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with CAA accreditation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Other duties as assigned.
