Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, seeks a Speech Pathologist to provide skilled in-home assessment and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders in adults in Jacksonville, FL.

You will partner with patients and families to improve communication, safety and independence, while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized care.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Develop and implement therapy plans with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform aural rehabilitation and AAC support as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
