Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Amedisys division is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with patients, families, and the care team to improve communication, safety, independence and quality of life.

Primary responsibilities include assessing and treating adults in home health settings, offering aural rehabilitation and AAC options, and participating in an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active state license to practice speech pathology
• Driver's license and reliable transportation
• CCC-SLP with CAA-accredited program
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home speech-language pathology evaluation and treatment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team
• Address speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing disorders in adults
• Deliver aural rehabilitation and AAC systems as needed
