Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will partner with patients and families to improve communication, safety and quality of life in a home setting.

The position requires CCC-SLP, state licensure, and CPR certification, with preferred 1+ year experience. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, with opportunities for growth within the Optum family.

Qualifications

• Current CCC-SLP certification with completed graduate coursework and practicum from a CAA-accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice speech-language pathology in the state of assignment.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team to Improve communication, safety, independence, and quality of life.
• Additional duties as assigned.
