Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide in-home evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team to improve communication, safety and independence.

Responsibilities include assessing and treating adults, providing aural rehab and AAC support, and performing other duties as assigned. A strong emphasis on compassionate, personalized care is expected.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP credential required.
• State license to practice speech pathology required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for deaf/ hard of hearing individuals.
• Assist and perform other duties as assigned.
