Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with patients, families, and the care team to enhance communication, safety, independence, and quality of life through personalized care.

Responsibilities include preventing, assessing, diagnosing and treating adults with communication and swallowing disorders, plus providing AAC when needed.

Formación

• Current, active license to practice speech-language pathology in the state of assignment.
• CCC-SLP certification with supervised graduate coursework and clinical practicum (CAA-accredited program).
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Partner with patients, families, caregivers and the interdisciplinary team to improve communication, safety, independence and quality of life.
• Other duties as assigned.
