Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, seeks a Speech Pathologist to deliver in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will work with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to enhance communication, safety, independence and quality of life through personalized care.

Requirements include an active state license for speech pathology, CCC-SLP certification with CCC-CAA-accredited education, and current CPR.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with completed graduate coursework and a CAA-accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team to improve communication and safety.
• Support independence and quality of life through personalized, evidence-based care.
