Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, seeks a Speech Pathologist to deliver in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice and swallowing disorders. You will partner with patients, families, and the care team to enhance communication, safety, independence and quality of life through personalized care.

Required: current state licensure, CCC-SLP, CPR. Preferred: 1+ year of experience in Speech Pathology.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Current CCC-SLP certification with accredited program requirements.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home evaluation and treatment for speech, language, cognition, voice, and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers and interdisciplinary team to improve communication, safety, independence and quality of life.
• Other duties as assigned.
