Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a Smart Home Consultant to guide residential customers in designing a personalized security and smart home setup. You will combine hands-on installation with consultative sales to help customers understand how security, IoT devices, and smart home products work together.

You'll activate systems, educate customers on the app and features, and ensure every solution fits their unique needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong customer-focused communication skills are essential.
• Technical aptitude with smart devices and home networks is needed.
• Ability to design and install smart home solutions and integrate products.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home consultations and assessments.
• Recommend smart home and security solutions based on customer goals.
• Install and activate security hardware, cameras, IoT devices, and smart home products.
• Integrate new products with the customer’s existing setup.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical questions.
• Complete customer onboarding and product education.
• Build long-term customer confidence through proactive support.
