Job summary

Asurion is looking for an In-Home Sales & Tech Support representative in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a part-time position requiring afternoon and evening availability with a standard 5-day schedule.

The ideal candidate will meet customers for service, leverage negotiation skills to close sales, and maintain accurate records. A valid driver's license and a customer-first mindset are essential. Compensation includes a base hourly rate, commissions, and other benefits.

Job description

In-Home Sales & Tech Support

Local, in‑home field role requiring daily travel to customer residences (not Remote). Position is part‑time with afternoon and evening availability.

Schedule

Standard 5‑day schedule: 4:05PM–9:00PM (end time may vary). In select markets a flexible 4+ day schedule is available, requiring 25 hours per week, at least 4 days, with one weekend day. Shifts run between 12:05PM and 9:00PM. Availability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers in‑home, in‑office, or other locations and pre‑scheduled appointments to provide service and products.
• Apply the Serve, Solve, Sell™ approach: deliver exceptional customer service, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and offer tailored solutions.
• Use strong negotiation and communication skills to close sales and meet daily targets.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and technical support during each visit.
• Adapt to varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate customer timelines.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1year of driving experience.
• Proof of valid car insurance (Motorcycles and Manhattan excluded).
• Personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles) and personal cellphone for field communication.
• Ability to travel up to 120miles one‑way from the warehouse.
• Customer‑first mindset, efficient and adaptive, goal‑oriented, persuasive communication, and a passion for learning.

Compensation & Benefits

Base hourly rate of $23.00, guaranteed for all hours worked, paid bi‑weekly. Additional earnings include uncapped commissions, mileage reimbursement (IRS guidelines) paid weekly, $35 telephone stipend paid monthly, and paid training for three weeks.
