In-Home Sales & Tech Support (Part‑Time)

In‑home support requires daily travel to customer residences – not remote. Pay rate: $23.95 hourly + mileage reimbursement + phone stipend + sales commission.

Schedule

Part‑time role with afternoon and evening availability. Most positions follow a standard 5‑day schedule from 4:05PM to 9:00PM (end time may vary based on customer needs). In select markets, a flexible 4+ day schedule may be available: 25 hours of availability each week across at least 4 days, with at least one weekend day. Shifts are scheduled between 12:05PM and 9:00PM. If the flexible option is available in your market, you may choose between the two schedules. Schedule availability is essential for this role.

About the Role

We’re looking for an entry‑level Field Sales Representative to work during our busiest hours. This position is ideal for someone starting their career who enjoys talking to people and wants hands‑on sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve: Meet customers in‑home, in‑office, or wherever they are. Provide exceptional service throughout the interaction, prioritizing the customer first.
• Solve: Address and resolve customers’ tech issues, providing an understandable solution regardless of their tech knowledge. Ensure customers leave with a resolution and a product that meets future needs.
• Sell: Leverage Asurion’s product range to offer tailored solutions. Actively listen to identify needs and position products uniquely to meet those needs.
• Use strong negotiation and communication skills to pivot smoothly and achieve sales goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets.
• A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1‑year driving experience.
• Proof of valid car insurance (excluding Manhattan).
• A personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles).
• Customer service appointments located in neighborhoods and cities surrounding the inventory warehouse; maximum expected travel distance is 120 miles one‑way.
• Varied 5‑day week schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A personal cellphone for communication during the job.
• Comfortable working around household pets.
• Efficient, adaptable, goal‑oriented and persuasive communication skills.
• Open‑minded with a passion for learning a wide range of skills that carry into various career paths.
