Job summary

United Energy Workers Healthcare seeks registered nurses to join as 1099 Independent Contractors delivering in-home care. You’ll assess patients, educate families, assist with ADLs, and coordinate care with managers, physicians, and specialists, all while maintaining detailed EMR records.

You will administer medications, monitor symptoms, and provide compassionate support in patients' homes, building trust and promoting wellness in the community.

Qualifications

• A valid and active RN License in the state of practice.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Ability to pass a state & federal background check.
• Malpractice insurance is required.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking with warmth and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to deliver personalized, comprehensive home care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Provide assistance with ADLs with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate schedules with patients according to care plans and preferences.
• Monitor changes in patient symptoms and report promptly to the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate with Case Managers and physicians for a unified care approach.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
