Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. seeks qualified respiratory professionals to educate, train and monitor patients using ventilators, PAP therapy and home oxygen. You will assess patient needs, document findings and communicate with physicians to ensure individualized care plans.

This PRN/per diem role offers flexible scheduling, with pay per set-up ranging from $5.00 to $100.00 per service, and requires adherence to state licensure and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Credentials as a respiratory therapist (RRT/CRT) preferred but other medical credentials may be acceptable depending on state licensure laws.
• Must be licensed in primary state of home office as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Educate, train and monitor patients using ventilators, PAP therapy, home oxygen and other respiratory equipment.
• Perform patient assessments and communicate findings to physicians.
• Maintain documentation of services provided per policies.
• On-call responsibilities for phone consultations as needed.
