Job summary

Elite Home Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled physical therapy services in patients' homes across Florida under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role focuses on mobility restoration, safe functional movement, and patient-centered care in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program; current state PTA licensure.
• Minimum of one year of PT experience preferred; home health experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background screening and all compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
• Deliver therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders and the established plan of care.
• Assist patients with exercises, gait training, transfers, balance activities, and mobility restoration.
• Support fall prevention, strengthening, and safe functional movement in the home environment.
• Observe and report patient response to treatment and changes in condition to the supervising PT.
• Communicate patient concerns, safety issues, and therapy barriers promptly.
• Reinforce patient and caregiver education as directed by the PT.
