Job summary

Elite Home Health is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled physical therapy services to patients in their homes under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA supports mobility, balance, and functional independence while adhering to the established plan of care and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida PTA license, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred, home health a plus.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA services under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Perform therapy interventions per physician orders and plan of care.
• Assist patients with exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility tasks.
• Document treatment sessions timely in the EMR and track progress.
• Communicate patient status and safety concerns to the PT and care team.
