Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation in Dover, NH is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient/home-based care team. This full-time role focuses on delivering individualized rehabilitation services in patients' homes or clinics, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

You'll perform therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional activities, while documenting care and coordinating with the rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Attends patient care conferences as a representative of physical therapy under the supervision of the PT.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation requirements.
• Works with rehab team to implement programs and activities for each patient.
• Assists the Physical Therapist when tests, evaluations, and complex procedures are performed.
• Instructs patients and families in skills and techniques of the PT program under supervision.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans, maintains, identifies, and reports the need for repair of equipment.
• Puts patient service first by delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
• Implements individualized treatment plans established by the primary PT.
• Provides therapies including therapeutic exercise, gait training, manual therapy, airway techniques, functional training, and more.
• Performs other related duties as required.
