Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide in-home outpatient rehabilitation for older adults. You will evaluate patients, design and deliver PT programs, and collaborate with the rehab team to meet comprehensive needs.

Education includes a PT degree and licensure; supervision of staff may be involved. Responsibilities include patient education, documentation, and adapting plans as progress occurs, with a flexible schedule to support patients in their homes and

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice.
• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field with PT degree, or Bachelor’s plus 5 years of PT experience.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to patients’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in-home for older adults.
• Evaluate, plan, and deliver physical therapy programs to restore function.
• Coordinate with rehabilitation team to address comprehensive needs.
• Instruct and educate patients and caregivers to promote independence.
• Maintain documentation and adapt plans based on patient progress.
• Supervise assistants, students, and temporary licensees when applicable.

Education

Master’s degree in Physical Therapy

Master’s degree in Physical Therapy related field + Bachelor’s in PT

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy + 5 years PT experience

PT degree earned outside US evaluated for US equivalence
