Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a PTA.
• Ability to adapt care approaches to various patient needs.
• Professional and compassionate when educating patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home-based physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Identify patient goals and implement interventions to meet mobility needs.
• Provide evidence-based treatments that promote movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance through therapy.
• Develop individualized care plans and apply proven techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each condition.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation.
• Improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
• Document services and maintain patient records.
