Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Channelview, TX to support patients throughout recovery. You will deliver in-home therapy, promote independence, and tailor care plans to individual needs, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

The role requires an active Texas PTA license and CPR certification, with preferred experience in home health or rehabilitation settings.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Home health or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver home health physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Identify patient goals and implement interventions to meet mobility and functional needs.
• Provide evidence-based treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Promote non-surgical care options and reduce reliance on medications.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans using proven techniques.
• Create wellness programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.
• Educate and motivate patients to actively participate in rehabilitation.
• Improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for high-quality care.
• Document all services and maintain complete patient records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising therapist.
