Redcrest Home Health LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant I (PTA I) to provide comprehensive skilled services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in patients' homes. The PTA educates patients and families, ensures safety, and maintains compliant documentation per state and Medicare guidelines.

The role covers Greater Indianapolis and Central Indiana with standard M-F, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM hours.

Formación

• Minimum of one year of PTA experience in an acute setting.
• Home care experience is desired.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and coworkers.
• Knowledgeable on therapy best practices.
• Ability to make appropriate physical therapy judgments.

Responsabilidades

• Provides skilled PTA services in a patient’s home as developed by the Physical Therapist plan of care.
• Observes and reports patient progress and reactions.
• Performs physical therapy procedures and diagnostic tests as prescribed.
• Educates patient and family on therapy techniques, safety measures, and equipment use.
• Completes clinical documentation and adheres to Medicare/Federal guidelines.
• Participates in case conferences and coordination of care.
