Zusammenfassung

Redcrest Home Health LLC provides skilled Physical Therapist Assistant services in patients’ homes under a Physical Therapist’s supervision. The PTA I educates patients and their families and ensures patient safety, while completing accurate documentation per Medicare/Federal guidelines.

The role covers Greater Indianapolis and Central Indiana, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered; a valid driver’s license and home health experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of one year of PTA experience in an acute setting.
• Home care experience is desired.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families and co-workers.
• Knowledgeable on therapy best practices.
• Ability to make appropriate physical therapy judgments.
• Detail-oriented and observant.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in your name.

Aufgaben

• Provides skilled PTA services in a patient's home as developed by the Physical Therapist plan of care.
• Observes, records, and reports patient reactions, changes, and progress.
• Performs physical therapy procedures and diagnostic tests as prescribed.
• Educates patient and family on therapy techniques, safety measures, and supportive activities.
• Completes and submits all required documentation within agency guidelines.
• Communicates with scheduler about changes and participates in case conferences.
