Job summary

BrightStar Care is actively seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for per diem, in-home evaluations and treatment. The role emphasizes personalizing patient plans to improve mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Applicants should hold a PT degree, a current license, and at least 1 year of PT experience, with a strong commitment to HIPAA and patient confidentiality. Flexible scheduling and weekly pay support a balanced workload.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state Physical Therapist license and/or successful completion of NPTE (or state exam).
• Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy experience.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ mobility, strength, range of motion, and pain levels to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Educate clients and caregivers on the proper use of assistive devices and exercises.
• Monitor and report patient progress or changes in condition to the Director of Nursing and physician.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and discharge planning.
• Deliver compassionate, respectful, and client-centered care to patients and their families.

Degree in Physical Therapy

Current state Physical Therapist license

NPTE (or state exam)
