Job summary

MaineTouch LLC is seeking Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to provide in-home non-medical care to adults and seniors, promoting safety, independence and comfort. No experience is required as training and ongoing supervision are provided.

This role offers flexible full-time or part-time schedules, with opportunities for career growth including CRMA, CNA, and nursing pathways, plus mileage reimbursement where applicable.

Qualifications

• No experience required – training and support provided.
• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Active Maine PSS certification or willingness to enroll within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Support mobility and transfers with or without mobility aids.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and changing bed linens.
• Assist with meal preparation, serving, shopping and errands as care plan outlines.
• Provide companionship and support daily routines or hobbies.
