Job summary

MaineTouch LLC is seeking dedicated Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to provide in-home, non-medical care for adults and seniors. Training is provided, with supervision and growth opportunities across care pathways.

Roles involve assisting with daily living activities, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship. You will work in client homes with flexible shifts, and scheduling supports independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Active PSS certification in Maine or willingness to enroll within 60 days of hire.
• CNA credentials accepted (active or inactive).
• No prior experience required - training provided.
• Not listed on Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Support mobility and transfers with/without aids.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal-related tasks per care plan.
• Provide companionship and assist daily routines or hobbies.
• Observe and report changes to supervisor.
• Follow client service plan and document accurately.
