Job summary

MaineTouch LLC is seeking Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to provide in-home non-medical care for adults and seniors. You will assist with daily living, promote safety and independence, and work in clients' homes with ongoing supervision.

No experience is required; we provide training and support. Full-time and part-time shifts with day, evening, weekend, and overnight options are available, with mileage reimbursement where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Active PSS certification in Maine, or willingness to enroll within 60 days of hire.
• CNA accepted.
• No experience required - training provided.
• Must not be listed on the Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry.
• Ability to work independently.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Support mobility and transfers safely.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meals.
• Provide companionship and daily routine support.
• Document care activities and report changes to supervisor.
• Follow client service plans and infection control guidelines.
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA policies.
• Respond to emergencies and report incidents.
