Job summary

Sprinter Health is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely processes before and after in-home visits. You will support high-volume workflows, validate labs, and coordinate between patients, providers and Sprinters.

The role emphasizes detail orientation, process discipline, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. This temporary position runs through December 31, 2026.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a clinical healthcare environment (e.g., Healthcare Administrator, Patient Care Coordinator, etc.).
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy standards and medical terminology.
• Experience communicating with doctors’ offices, hospitals, labs, and clinics via phone and email.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare software.
• Proficient with Mac OS, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, and Zendesk across multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound patient result calls and post-visit appointment reviews within SLAs.
• Provide clinical and administrative support before, during, and after patient visits.
• Upload and manage clinical documents accurately and timely.
• Monitor lab results and imaging reports in clinical apps; escalate concerns as needed.
• Serve as liaison between patients, providers, and internal teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain and update provider directory including fax numbers.
• Collaborate with health system/health plan teams to obtain missing appointment information and ideas for workflow improvements.
• Oversee medical record management and HIPAA compliance.
• Monitor daily workflows to identify gaps and support process improvements.
