Job summary

Sprinter Health is seeking a Patient Support Specialist to join our remote, nationwide team. You will be the first voice for patients, delivering timely, accurate support via phone, email, and SMS while coordinating with clinical and administrative colleagues across departments.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of relevant experience in patient or patient service, healthcare required.
• Preferred: experience working with Zendesk.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Experience coordinating with national labs such as Quest or Labcorp.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in appointment documentation and record-keeping.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise between clinical and administrative teams.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Field and resolve overnight questions and support requests from patients and partners.
• Respond to and triage inbound patient and partner questions via phone, email and SMS in a timely manner and in line with organizational benchmarks.
• Elevate questions and concerns to other teams for additional support.
• Assist Field Support and Sprinters with real-time scheduling changes.
• Support clerical work before and after appointments to ensure Sprinters can focus on delivering high-quality home care.
• Participate in additional responsibilities and cross-training across departments.
