We are seeking a Patient Support Specialist I to join our growing team and serve as the first voice for patients across the country.

This temporary position through December 31, 2026 requires a patient-centric approach and the ability to manage multiple channels of communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of patient or patient-service experience in healthcare.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and healthcare software.
• Experience coordinating with national labs (Quest, Labcorp).
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and liaison between clinical and admin teams.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing priorities.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Field and resolve overnight questions and support requests from patients and partners.
• Respond to and triage inbound patient and partner questions via phone, email and SMS.
• Elevate questions to other teams for additional support as needed.
• Assist Field Support with real-time scheduling changes.
• Support clerical work before and after appointments to ensure high-quality care.
• Participate in process improvements and cross-training across departments.
