Job summary

The Parent Child Center of Tulsa is seeking a SafeCare Parent Educator to provide in-home visitation and parent education within Tulsa County. You will teach child development, safety, health awareness and positive parenting, while maintaining trauma-informed support for families.

Responsibilities include weekly home visits, documentation, and collaboration with community partners. A Bachelor's degree and strong communication skills are required; mileage reimbursement is provided for travel.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage in reflective conversations with clients and co-workers.
• Trauma-informed, strength-based approach to family support.

Responsibilities

• Provide home visitation services aligned with SafeCare curriculum and module standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with client families, visiting weekly for one hour.
• Complete documentation within 48 hours per COA standards; manage a caseload of 12 families.
