CenClear is hiring a Parent Educator to deliver in-home and group education to families using the Parents as Teachers model. You will offer practical tools, developmental guidance, and connect families to community resources to give children the best start in life.

Role requires travel across Elk County, 37.5 hours/week, and some evenings/weekends. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with willingness to engage in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years’ supervised work with young children/parents.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Must obtain PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI history, and Mandated Reporting certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and group-based educational services to families.
• Support parents with child development guidance and community resources.
• Conduct home visits and group sessions across Elk county.
• Track progress, screenings, and maintain records.
• Connect families with community resources and partners.
• Participate in outreach, recruit families, and attend trainings.
