Job summary

PARS Therapy seeks a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our home health care team in Austin, TX. You will work with patients in their homes to restore mobility, improve functional abilities, and promote long-term wellness through evidence-based treatments.

Essential duties include evaluating patients, creating personalized plans, educating families, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Texas OT license required.
• Professional liability insurance for practice in Texas required.
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; compassionate demeanor; up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and create individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills.
• Educate patients and families on recovery techniques to support independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed.
